Setec Consulting Group’s games are developed through the methodology called “9 Steps of the games”.
1) Creation of steps
2) Pre project
3) Dynamics development
4) Content developmen
5) Initial prototype
6) Graphic design
7) Review and translation
8) Final Prototype
9) Production
The project’s first phase is the making of the steps of the game. These steps are thought out once the briefing is given by the client or the market and must consist of a plot, characters and objectives of the game.
From these initial elements, a pre project is designed containing the necessary
actions, the team involved ,the deadlines and game ideas. The third step is the development of the activity’s dynamics. Once ready, it is time to go to the content creation.
At the end of these first four phases, an initial prototype of the game is made. The objective of this material is to be tested by the largest number of people in order to evaluate the project viability.
When the initial prototype is approved, the next step is the development of the visual elements and game design. Simultaneously, the game content is reviewed and translated.
Once the graphic part and the game content are ready, another prototype is developed. This is the final prototype of the game and should be made to show what the final product version will really be like. It is also tested to evaluate its receptivity. When the prototype is approved, the game may be produced. |
